The title pretty much says it all. I love this boat. Deciding on the power now. Forget about the cash difference.

All things being equal, 90 or a 115? Is there any reason NOT to go to a 115 E-tec, aside from the obvious price difference?

For reference, a 90 4 stroke Yammy and 115 E-tech both weigh 369 pounds, the 90 in the E-tec comes in 80 pounds lighter or so, I believe.

Thoughts?

Some will say fuel economy and the 80 lbs. are worth going with the 90. Not me. The fuel economy will be close, but my scientifically worthless, but semi-educated, guess is $2.47 savings per trip unless your trips take you around the Cape of Good Hope.

The 90 might troll better . . .

If you go with the 90 you will spend the rest of your life wondering how much better it would run with the 115.
