90 etec vs 90 johnson

witch will have more grunt , top speed, a 1996 ocean runner 90, or a 2007 90 etec,, on the same boat,, boat is rated for 150 hp max, has 90 on it now average speed with ocean runner is 33 mph , gps, 1700 lb hull . can get a deal on the etec .

The '96 Ocean Runner is lighter and would probably be just a tiny bit quicker, BUT it is carbureted and would be much dirtier and more thirsty.

If there were no other issues The ETEC is hands down the better outboard.
