Powerheads come off easy but they run 2000 or better, rebuild would be the cheapest solution if you have the time and patience. mercruiserparts.com shows 150's from 1989-1994, I don't know if I would stick 2000 into my force just for a rebuilt powerhead, unless you got some super deal.
