90 Force '' one way'' tilt problem

I have done a search and am still in need of help on my 1990 90hp Force. Tilt will go all the way up but when attempting to go down, I just hear a click out of the relay switch. I have swapped the switches out and still the same result. The really bizarre thing is this problem "miraculrasly" has repaired itself in the past however now its been a while. ANY suggestions will be much appreciated!!Thanks guys!

There should be two wires leaving the trim motor.One blue and one green.Connect exterior 12V source to the two wires ,Pos on blue and neg on green.Then reverse the pos to green and neg to blue.Motor should operate in both up and down directions.If this checks out , your problem lies in the wiring between the relays and the trim motor.<br /><br />You can buy a new wire harness for the tilt/trim unit for around $22. P/N FA663744
