I just replaced my waterpump and my thermostat and springs because I was getting a steady chime that i was overheating. After it was all put back together I left the thermostat hoses disconnected from the head and housing to see if water was coming up but there was none? Also nothing was coming out the exhaust ports or the tattletail? The direction on the pump I'm 99% sure was correct and the water tube was still connected up by he engine and I believe it to be lined up correctly, Could anyone offer some help?

Thanks,
Dan

Since you're not 100% sure the pump is correct you're going to drop the lower unit anyway. When you do, put a garden hose on the water tube in the mid section. If you have flow now, the issue is with the pump or inlets.
