90 hp merc no start

Hooked up a new battery this afternoon to my boat<br />used the power trim to lower, changed lower unit oil, spark plugs put the muffs on and I turned the key to start and nothing....any suggestions??<br />everything else on the boat operated except to turn over....Newbie to this site...any help would be appreciated

might wanna look around and check all your fuses.
