'90 johnson service manual

ive got a 1990 johnson 150 hp v-6 motor on my boat. I need to purchase a service manual for it. is there anywhere that i could find a service manual for that excact year and HP or do you just have to get a generic one. i think the one that i have is like a 1983-1990 or something like that, and it covers my motors horsepower. is that all that i am going to be able to find on this motor?

ditto - bought one for 1990 V6 there last year or the year before. They aren't cheap. The only other alternative I've seen is ebay - but you might have to spend some time looking for the one for your particular engine.

check with searayman13 on ebay. he has lots of manuals and reasonable prices.

i went to outboardbooks.com and entered my model number that directly came from my engine, and it is j150stlesb. when i searched, the closes thing that i could find was j150stles, it was the same except with out the "b". is this what i need any suggestions. Right now i have a service manual from our local library, and on the website, there is an owners manual available and a service manual available. any suggestions on which one i should or should not get. here is the website of everthing that they have for it.

The "B on the end of the model number is just a "run" code ...

alright great! yeah i checked out searayman13 and he did not have what i needed at the moment, i am going to get on there here sometime and find out a way to contact him, no luck yet.thanks
