90 Johnson trim

after taking the boat to the lake for the first time today, the motor pulls extremely hard to the right at higher speeds. You absolutely cannot let go of the steering wheel and it is tough to turn left, not impossible by any means, just the wheel puts up a fight.

on the trim fin above the prop, there are numbered notches. How much correction does each number indicate? I just want an idea of what to try to move the setting to to start with so i can get it straightened out.

thanks for the input

It's going to be purely trial and error, since each setup is unique. It depends on several factors including what prop you have, engine height, and hull design.

A trial and error as mentioned. I boat is pulling to the left, turn thr trim-tab to the left. How much you need to turn, might depend on engine trim angle and speed so it will always be a compromise.
