90 Wellcraft 186 Eclipse Restore

Hello all,

Here is a project i'm working on, still have a way's to go but so far I've gotten the engine up and running, polished up the exterior, redid vinyl, and I am now working on the carpet/floor.

Need some advice on the floor, its in pretty good shape, a few soft spots, I don't want to tear it all up I was thinking of just going over it with some wood but what do I cover the wood with so it wont rot.. Some kind of resin?

Carpet in, just have some minor things to touch up. Think I might sell it, need the money.

Looks pretty darn good. If she were mine, I would paint the window frame and oil up that teak ski locker hatch. Looks just like a new boat.

I wouldnt sell it... just sayin!

Looks pretty darn good. If she were mine, I would paint the window frame and oil up that teak ski locker hatch. Looks just like a new boat.

Thanks, What kind of oil for that wood? I was thinking polyurethane but I didn't want it wearing off with all the foot traffic there.

Thanks, wasn't easy wrangling a 12x15 foot piece of carpet in there, I didn't want any seams on the floor.
