90psi?

Hello, I am looking at a Johnson 1989 150hp outboard to repower my boat.
The motor has 90psi on all 6 cylinders. Is this psi hi or low?
Will the wiring and cables from my Johnson 115 work (1997)?

they change wiring in 1996, so you may need an adapter. i think cables are OK. compression seems fine. those are low compression motors.

A basic 150 would be fine in the 90 lb range. If you have a 150S model (the XP/GT model) the compression could be 10 lbs higher.
