91 150 powerhead install

I put my powerhead back together over the past few days so i was wondering at what point can i install it on the midsection? Do i put the fuel and electrical system on first, or wait until after the powerhead is on? my manual shows the torque pattern on the head bolts, them shows several pictures of a completed powerhead already installed.

I'd put all together and then install it okstate. Easier to to connect all the fuel lines and connections. Before you run the harness' from the control box and stuff, hook up the gas and oil lines from the lower pan nipples to the VRO.

Yeah, i agree. It would definitely be easier to access on the bench. I just wasn't sure about it getting in the way when mounting the powerhead and accessing bolts, gaskets etc.

Thanks for the go ahead. I'm waiting for some recirc check valves for the powerhead and intake manifold. Once they arrive, I'll go ahead and dress it. Thanks again.
