91' 25 HP Evinrude noise supressor (air box)

Just bought a 91' SeaNymph backtroller with this engine not running as a project. Does anyone know if its suppose to have a box on front of carb? has 3 threaded holes to mount one but cant find a part number or salvage yard that can tell me. Cant see them just having an open throat on carb from factory. if i can get a part number from someone id be greatly appreciative.

I think older ‘70’s models had the silencer, and newer like yours did not. Either way, you do not need one on your motor..

Your motor did not come with an airbox. Came like that from the factory there are no parts missing.

I have a '88 or so 20hp. No silencer/ air box, but there are holes for them
