I Stripped Out The Right Bolt Hole On The Thermastat,does Anyone Know If That Can Be Tapped Out To Larger Size, When I Winterized I Loosened The Therm Housing Bolts To Pour Antifreeze In Block Went To Put The Bolts Back In The Right Hole The Threads Were Gone And The Bolt Would Not Snug Up, Thanks Bayshiner

Welcome to iboats!

1. There shouldn't be a problem drilling and tapping to the next larger size. But you should post this over in the Outdrives forum for better results.

2. Your post would be a lot easier to read if you didn't capitalize the first letter of each word.

Thanks for the reply and the advice i was a little leary of drilling that out and tapping it but i might give a try, also called boat dealer in St Louis for a quote to do it ,have not heard back from them, need to let things unfreeze around here anyway just starting to think about getting the bayshiner ready when it does warm up.
