My 1991 Volvo Penta 4.3 has 2 bellows one at the bottom (when engine raiseed) and a wider one at the top.I have noticed a crack in the rubber just above the clamp.my question is could I not fix this with say an "inner tube" repair kit and glue the splice.I mean rubber is rubber and if it would work it would do the same job which is keeping out water.Just a thought.

The lower tube Should be the Exhaust.......
You Could just cut it Right Out, with minimal effect.......
The Top Bellows is your Driveline........
Your $.50 Patch will Cost you Several Thousand Dollars........

It's Your Choice.......

I'd just Replace it........
