Not getting going above 22000 rpm at full throttle. im looking for a base line as to were to start. i checked the spark and spark is good on all 6 plugs and wires. checked to make sure the butterfly valves in the cabs are fully opening and they are. Is the primer ball supposed to be soft or remain hard during running? i also checked to make sure oil resivoir is full and it is.the model for this motor is P150TLRP. on a side note i did a little expiremeant playing with the choke switch and it came up to plain but only running 29000-30000 RPM at full throttle had to hit the choke every 5 to 10 seconds to keep it going though.

from what I have seen, these motors are not suppose to run above 5500 RPM
getting up to 30000 or above should never happen

but it sounds like your carbs need cleaning

It's not hard to do, nothing in there to really scare you, most carbs are fairly close in design, so if you can't find a video for this one just look at whatever video you can find that's close.
