In the bottom just in front of the throttle plate there is a tiny hole. I can't tell where it comes out at by shooting carb cleaner in it, so I don't know if it is blocked. I wanted to ask before putting it back together again.

This motor has a power problem and I don't want to miss a thing this time. Thanks.

Low speed circuit orifice. You can clean it with an "L" shaped bit of fine wire or you can remove the Welch plug opposite it and get a straight shot at it. It must be clear for correct low speed and idle operation.

There doesn't seem to be a welch plug on this one. I used a metal wire but still need to know where it goes. My idle was ok anyhow, but wouldn't develop full power.

They had to drill that hole from somewhere. Look under it inside the carb body.

I thought I put a wire through that spot, but not sure now. It might just be a rough spot. Do you know if there should be one there?
