I was going along fine but while I was using my power trim the engine came to an abrupt stop. I had no spark and the 20amp fuse near the solenoid was blown. My tilt and trim, starterand choke still worked without the fuse. The manual shows the fuse going to the tilt and trim and to the large connector going to the controls. could the fuse have already been blown befoe I lost spark or is the blown fuse related to me losing spark? with or without the fuse I have no spark and I dont see whats not working with the fuse out. What is the fuse for? thanks Robby

No I have no spark even after replacing fuse. I am trying to figure out if they are related or if I have been running around with a blown fuse for some time.

I am quite sure that the fuse was blown first now because I found out that replacing the fuse allows my tilt to work with the key off. The tilt did not work with the key off since I owned the boat so all I can assume is that the fuse haas always been blown. thanks anyway robby
