Having issue with previously perfectly running engine after buying new portable fuel tank. Engine began stalling, starving for fuel
and dying. I have checked new fuel tank, replaced lines, bulb and fittings and since used another known good tank with same results.
Engine appears to not be getting fuel to top cylinder. When running, I remove top plug wire and motor no change. If I remove wire 2 or 3, motor dies.
Switched coils but problem remains the same. Carbs were rebuilt by mechanic a year ago and motor had been running fine. I also replaced power pack
only because it was a possible problem and a reasonable cost to DIY. I am considering doing the same with a fuel pump. I have not had good luck with local mechanics
for this older motor so that is my reason for reaching out to the forum. I am capable of moderate DIY and I don't really have another mechanic locally that
I feel confident with. Any Help??
