yes, i ordered a manual.......... but i cant get the lower unit off. took off the three bolts, and it seems the shift linkage is stuck??? the lu drops, about an inch, but no further. when i shift to reverse, the unit gets closer to the lu, in forward, the unit goes away from the lu (so i assume the sift rod is bolted?? to the lower unit).
any tips?

well i finally got the lu off. seems on the 93, there is a small latch that is a disconnect for the shift lever below the carb, near the power head.
