First where do I find the serial number so I know what year model it is?

Second. Have a harness from the prior 86 or 89 Evin 200(its been a long story and a year since I"ve touched the issue so forgive me for not knowing exactly....) The red plug seems the same, but there is a smaller pin plug on the newer Johnson... How do I find out what it is and/or use it?

BTW I have a book for the older one, and, once I figure out the newer one exactly, I"ll order a book for it also.

Found the ID plate-- can anyone help here? J200CXERK/G03517744

Trying to get 2 gauges also for the motor-- water pressure, do I need 15 or 30 psi??

Also water temp-- what size sending unit NPT?? Where do I look to remove and replace the plug for the sensor??

The water temperature sensor has to match the gauge it is used with. The sensors that are on the engine are tied to the powerpack, other warning sensors, and the warning horn, and must not be altered. There is a threaded hole on each cylinder head near the top, into which you may insert the temperature gauge sensor.

The water pressure gauge may be tee'd into the tell-tale hose. I would contact Teleflex technical support for the correct water pressure gauge and installation instruction:
