93 merc 90 powerhead on 2000 mid?

I am looking at an engine that a guy has, says it is a 93 merc 90 powerhead on a 2000 merc 90 mid and lower. Any issues that you merc guru's see in this? Looking for an engine for my inlaw's bass boat....

There is no problem with the two interchanging as long as it's a good powerhead.
