Ok,

heres the deal, I got a great deal on a 1993 Yamaha 115, without controls. Then I found a set of controls (craigslist) that went to a yamaha 70 and bought them.

10 pin connector is working and motor runs!!

here is my question. there was two wires with the harness that looks like it runs to motor area. one green with red stripe and one green. I cannot find where they hook up.

Also, I filled the reseviour on the motor with oil, and i see it has a line coming out that was cut. Should i buy a remote tank and run that line to? will it feed or does it need a pump?

Also, it has a toggle switch on the motor that says it is the emergency feed, but it does nothing when activated.

I would appreciate the input.... and it is nice to be off the Johnson/evinrude boards...LOL!!

do a forum search on precision blend.
you should have a harness between the remote tank to engine with blue, tan, blackred and black wires. a harness between the engine and the tach with pink, orange, black and gray and another harness from engine to tach with green and green/red
sounds like you did not get all the pieces,
you also need a digital tach or an analog with lights for the visual indicates.

I seem to have all the wires that came with the unit and with the controls. My boat does not have an oil tank, so I installed an aftermarket coolant overflow bottle. I then put the line that goes to the Motor Tank and attached it to the bottle. IT DOES NOT PULL ANY FROM THE BOTTLE that I installed. It does however use the oil that is in the motor tank, all the way untill the buzzer sounds. I have TWO wires coming from a little black box on the control side that is Green/Red and Green. What do they connect to? And am I supposed to have some sorta pump on my Boat Oil Tank?

like I said. you dont have all the correct parts and wireing harnes's.
yes the remote tank has a pump AND a float switch AND its all intergrated through the oil control module.
thats why you MUST have the correct wire harness's and tachs and such or the system wont work.

you need the tank and pump assy with a working oil level switch, a trim harness and the remote tank harness.
