This has certainly been an ordeal. It's been now some 4 months of trying to get it running correctly. I recently posted a message indicating that the ignition was crossfiring between 1 and 3 and 4 was firing on borth 2 and 4. It was suggested that the new CDI powerpack was bad. It has been replaced (as well as the timer base, all coils, plug wires, plugs twice and carbs three times). All electronics test good using step by step proceedures in the factory manual (done at least three times). I'm at a lose as to understand the rough running, and crossfiring as well as poor idle. Ignition timing is set correctly. Is this cross fire usuall? Platform is a 1994 JEER 115 evinrude crossflow V4 overhauled in March and still has not seen water. I could use a hand and am willing to pay for the help and phone calls. Dirk
