Fatzbullet: If I can call on you one more time. We have checked the timing and it does not advance as you increase the throttle. When the throttle is between 1000 - 2300 rpm's the motor will spit and pot. When it pops you can see the eiming advance a little. We are looking at a new computer. As we started looking for the numbers we checked to see if the computer on the boat if it matched the oem recommended parts. It is mot on the list. This is a peace milled motor appearamtly with no serial number. On the block plug it has stamped REMAN. When we pull up a 1994 225 carbedMercury motor 4 different computers come up for this motor. If you think we are heading in the right direction or if you have any info would you please guide us in that dirrection. Thanks fo all that you have helped us with so far.
