Re: 94 Force 50hp

it is easy to replaced it? I have skill with build Chevy engines and i build Drag racing/ Road Racing.. also i have alot tools in my shop..

Im thinkin about take off lower gear and pop water pump housing and look at impeller and get # parts on Impeller...
and going to near by Mercury or mecuriser dealership repair shop to buy New impeller and gaskets..

Also i have Force Service Manual.. :D

UUmm if you egine is like mine, a 1990 force 50, then you wont have a pee stream. Instead you just have two little holes in the back that kinda spurt water out, not alot at all. Will be warm water coming out. just a thought, not an expert by any means. Dunno if they cheanged or not buddy. Good luck.

Bandzit your right..

I just pulled out and check impeller look good.. and i checked parts look good water pump housing, Impeller look like new, Impeller Water pump plate.. and i dont see any Gasket???

I put back together and firing motor and i finally got 2 holes spitting water out.. it good! and but water was leaking out by 4 bolts on lower gear.. i guess it need put gasket in water pump housing..
