Re: 94 trim/tilt question

why would you do that? there is no wiring harness to support 3w in a '94 force. and that particular pump was not intended to work with the smaller reservoir found on a 3w. you should quit while you're ahead and go back to 2w.

Re: 94 trim/tilt question

i dont think u read this right or i didnt explain well i had a 1987 3 wire set up and the pump was shot so i put a two wire pump on with new harness that i picked up for cheap from my mechanic so im told there is nothing different about it other then the wiring hense the new harness and that the hydraulic lines go on the bottom which is done and works great but i just want to make sure the hydraulic lines are correct

Maybe I'm missing something, but if all the functions are working properly, I think the lines would have to be correct.

Re: 94 trim/tilt question

if you started off with 1987 3w then you started off with ND30 fluid and your trim rings should be fine. when the trim rings blow out it is usually from the factory ATF used 1992-1994. If your trim ring is blown the system usually can't even lift. If it does lift then it drops like a stone when you let go of button. I hope you didn't use bundy brake lines.
