I had my jet boat on the river last night and I lost my top end power. It happened when I slowed down for a shallow area and when I tried to power up again I had no power to get back up on plane. It idles fine and I have about 1/2 the power it normally does.
-I checked for rocks in the jet and there are no obstructions.
-I pulled the plugs and they look good.
-I'm planning on replacing the fuel filter and water separator.
Does this sound like a fuel issue or worse? Did I get some bad gas? Any words of wisdom as to my problem?
