It seems to use a gallon of oil for 32-35 gallons of gas. Good running otherwise, no overheating, good charging, etc. Using synthetic oil per suggestions, fuel is fresh and good, no water. Any ideas are appreciated.

check for poor connections in the fuel line or a fuel restriction (plugged filter).
alot of times the VRO or OMS will overmix if the fuel line sucks air or if there becomes a fuel restriction.
