I have a '95 Mercury 115 that I recently replaced the stator, trigger, voltage regulator and plugs. Reason for the placement of the stator, trigger, and voltage regulator was due to the tachometer not working and the voltage on the dash showing 10 volts at idle and 11 at full throttle.
When I was replacing the wires I only disconnected one wire at a time to make sure I didn't cross wires during this entire process.
After getting everything back together, it will fire once and then backfires.
Any ideas?
