'95 triple 1100 Yamaha jetski (cuts off when rpm's get to high)

I have a '95 triple 1100 Yamaha jetski that is bored out to a 1200. If I slowly get up to speed without getting the rpm's to high it will stay running. If I get on the throttle to hard it will die. I have no idea why it is doing this. Can somebody help me out.<br /> <br />thanx

Have you checked the fuel filter? It definitely sounds fuel related. You may also want to give the carbs a clean, a clogged jet can do this as well.
