I'm having trouble disconnecting the shift linkage on this unit. Anyone know how to get to the linkage? The repair diagram I have does not properly depict it and its the only thing left to remove the unit.
Look under the carbs on the port side of the motor and you'll see the bolt that holds the shift shaft in the shift lever. Loosen the bolt and the shaft is loose.
