96 9.9 gameFisher

I recently was given a 96 9.9 gameFisher.the flywheel had broken off tearing off the coils and starter. When the motor was given to me all parts had been replaced.problem I have is the throttle cable isn't hooked up to the plate that pushes the throttle roller.im trying to figure out how's to attach the throttle cable. If anyone can help, send a picture or whatever,it would be greatly appreciated

If you didn't find the answer to your throttle question yet, I have some information. I like to use the Sears parts website for exploded views of the engine. If you haven't been there to verify that you have the parts, give it a try. The model number with the period goes into the searchh bar and you will have some great views at your fingertips.
I took some photos of mine today for you. I hope this helps. The cable mounts under one leg of the recoil. The cable end fastened to the plate with a screw through the bottom of the plate into a "pin" through the cable end..

No problems. I haven't been out on the water much this year at all, so it's been easy to get to.
