The pump that would work on this performance application is a 3-legged (early crossflow model) pre-mix pump 438559. It will use the existing pulse hose from the old VRO. Somewhere just north of $ 100.

i posted that because it matches more closely the exact needs of that Blocks fuel requirements.....as it was designed for a V4 60 degree looper of that era.

( i am pretty sure the E115ELED is a 60 degree looper)

EDIT:actually the 125 hp from 1996 that uses the dual fuel pumps isnt a 60 degree looper....it apprears to be a crossflow.. sorry for the mislead.....but i still feel it is a great options as it was made for a similar hp rating in the same year as the OPs outboard

I tested out my repair today and it pressured up and held with no leaks. I'm going to be in the market for a used pump now just in case. Maybe I can find just the housing that holds that nipple used and salvage that.
