Ah i see now. Under Exhaust Housing & Stern & Swivel bracket. Thanks. Thought it’d be with the tilt assist.

Now how do i go about testing the VRO and also low/no oil warings

Running with 50: 1 mix ?-----VRO tested if in service ?----Water pump impeller replaced?----Post compression test results.

Okay

Top Hole is 145 lbs
Bottom Hole is 140 lbs

Tested coil at 3/8 gap. Both passed. Went to 1/2” gap. Both passed.

Bottom plug was lighter than top one. Maybe too lean. Top was nice and brown. Both looked dry. See pic

Still trying to determine why it may have cut out…

On my Yamaha, I have a small tank under the cowling and a larger aux tank thats stored under a seat. Both have large rubber caps on the top that are attached to a float that goes down into the tank. Basically with the key in the "on" position, I loosen and start lifting those floats and when I get close to completely removing them, the alarm sounds. The alarm will sound for a short period of time and then the motor goes into a limp mode that will limit the RPM's to about 1500. The only problem I've seen with a Yamaha oil injection system is my sons 90 HP that had an alarm that went off even though the oil tank was close to full. I ended up pulling him home with my boat because we couldn't figure out how to disable the "limp mode" and had very few tools. Turns out that the magnet in the float system had come unglued and had fallen to the bottom of the float system.

Thank you for the contribution but i am not sure i can reference yamaha’s system to diag. my evinrude. I did buy a seloc manual so hopefully it will have some more specific details. Such as spark plug type, and gap.
