The manual gives 2 options for timing,) if you can see the photo)
I have rebuilt the motor and it starts and idles fine. I'm putting it in the water tomorow to set low and high timing.
With the motor warm, should it be set at
4-6 btdc? or 4-6 atdc for normal operation?

If i understand correctly is after tdc. I just need to be sure.
My manual does not have timing specs for wot.
Dies anyone know?

Looks like it's both. Probably have to pull some wire read the before then plug it back in and see the after.

I just skimmed it. Is there steps ahead of that page?

I had the boat idling on a hose at 900 rpm.
I took it to the lake and it will not idle. Useing a timming light, i can not get the idle timming below 10 degrees btdc.
It should be 4-6 atdc
No matter what i do, i canr get it firing atdc.
At wot it hits 20 degree as it should.

It will barely idle bogs down and dies in forward. Its diffacult to get it to wot.

Idle is set in hear under load. Sounds more like carburetion but could be timing. What's the model number of this motor?
