97 150 Fuel Problem

Can fuel leak from around the intake gasket. I pump the fuel up and it gets hard then I notice a fuel leak around the carbs on the starter side only,could the gasket between the intake and carbs not be seated properly allowing fruel to leak or could it be that floats are stuck. I just can't tell for sure where it is leaking from.

Floats are to seal off the fuel flow. If you have any kind of leak, it is the float/inlet needle /seat fault.

well I had a slight leak from my 95 115 carbs...well one of them for sure.

it was on the starboard side and it was the constustion hole that is plugged with a bb....

id doubt you would be able to even see the port side carbs spot...they are on the inside.. but you might see the results of the leak.
