I know I have been here before but could not find my ID. So I am new again today.
I have a problem with my 200 EFI Merc 2 stroke. It is a 1997 and runs great. However when lauching the boat in shallow water, and have to have the motor tilted up maybe at 45 deg. it is near impossible to keep the motor running. If I tilt the motor in to the water all the way, it will start and run fine. But with it tilted up I have to pump the throttle continously until I get to deep water and restart it many times.
When this is occuring, the bulb is hard and I cannot pump it up anymore.
Is there a possible air bubble in the EFI somwhere?
As I said before, no other issues with fuel or running. Runs WOT forever without a problem or loss of power.
