Ok so I've posted before about the running hot problem only with the thermostat installed.. We'll now the exhaust manifold, the riser and the sea water pump is brand new and also brand new thermostat and still temp steady rises at cruising speed.. I got to looking to make sure all my hoses are ran right and everything and I noticed there is a hot water outlet on the cooling diagram on volvo penta website and there is not one of these installed on my engine... What does this do and where does it go or do I even need it.. Also again when I remove the thermostat the temp does not get over 110 degrees f at WOT? I have ran out of things to try......

I also took off the water pump on the engine and it's a little rusty but nothing is visually wrong with it it's not slipping nor is the belt.. It just seems like the thermostat is restricting the flow so much it can't cool it? The thermostat housing is also a little corroded but it doesn't look to be bad enough to restrict the flow? I'm just wondering if someone has routed the hoses wrong or left something off.. Everything looks to be right but I have nothing to compare it to? Could someone maybe post some pics of the hose routing for this engine?

you have a screw in possibility in your tstat housing for this hot water outlet distributor - its not installed by default and the tstat hole is plugged up . i can provide you pics of a 3.0 GS PNCA ( should be the same like yours but i have servo steering ) but you have to wait a little until i,m at my boat again.
