97 3.0LX Carb Rebuild ?

All diagrams I've seen, including the merc manual, as well as the rebuild kit instructions, show the float bowl assembly and throttle body as two pieces... My carb, 807504, seems to be one piece and lacks the screws noted for removal in the diagrams as seen in the attached picture.

Anyone know if this was an odd model?

Anyone? Guess it really doesn't make a difference as the rebuild has been completed and its running much better.

I also noticed the jet size chart in the manual (Merc #13) I have differed from those in my carb (I had 155 whereas the manual called for either 160 or 165).

However, its worth noting that neither my carb number (807504) or venturi cluster were referenced in the manual.

Finally, I did find a few parts manuals that referenced the 155 jets being stock for the model carb I have.

I am still chasing my WOT rpm issue... next is checking fuel delivery.
