I'm getting Power Steering fluid on top of my intake, which is concave and silver. I'm comfortable that it's PS oil cause when I lost power steering I added some red atf and that's what color the oil on the intake is. it only ran a few minutes. before I lost power assist again.
Where could it be coming from? I did a visual check and didn't find any obvious source. I wonder if I have a leak in the PS cooler that's right behind the distributor.
I'd have finished checking, but it started to rain while I was out there.
It's starting to clear up. Going back to it now,

Yup, once the rain let up I went out, added some fluid to the reservoir and started it and hiss, pink spray from the return line that goes into the cooler.
There was enough line that I was able to cut it back 2 inches and reclamp in a couple of minutes.
The cleanup however took hours and still isn't good enough.
I think I musta bumped that line when I put the head on. The line had 2 little smiles in it. Kinda like a smaller version of the cuts that happen to golf balls when you get them with the edge of the club.

BTW, I did not clean everything til after the test, cause I knew I'd be cleaning once I found the problem.
