Thanks for reading this, I'm really surprised I bought a 97 Crownline 225 CCR that is a fantastic boat except for one glaring omission, NO BOW ANCHOR LOCKER! I use my boat a lot, and I like to anchor, stay over night or just be able to sit out on a busy sunday and not have to adjust position every 15 minutes. I guess my only choice is to pull the anchor out of the back, haul it (with 100 ft of rope) to the bow and tie it off, with 80 ft of dirty robe just out in the way ( not to mention when your done hauling a wet dirty robe and anchor back across the whole boat) Am I missing something? Is there another solution I'm missing? Just seem like a huge inconvenience to live with for a boat considered to be at the upper end of the quality scale. I had a 21ft Welcraft cuddy prior to this and it had the locker.
I think I know, the answer and i'll just have to deal with it but I figured I'd ask all of you savy boat buddies before I resolve to curse the sky everytime I pull my anchor out. Thanks
