97 Johnson 25hp goes into “limp mode”

My 97 Johnson 2stroke seems to into a limp mode after it runs great for awhile. I have replaced the thermostat and just put in a new impeller. Ran it for a 1 1/2 hours with no problem then all of a sudden it lost power and wouldn’t go past half throttle without stalling out. TIA

Do a cylinder drop test on it when it acts up.

No limp mode...must be dropping a cylinder..check ignition when it drops out.
