98 175hp Sport Jet no power

I have a 98 Merc Sport Jet 175 horse, the boat starts right up, then idles like a dream, but when I open her up, she only has about 40% power, I replaced the switch box. Any suggestions?

Also the boat sounded fine not stumbling or anything, went up to 5K rpm just had no power.
