Three weeks ago I purchased a 1998 Lund with 60 hp Mercury outboard from my Wife's Brother, it is a very low time boat and engine. This morning I was taking the Grandkids and the wife for a cruise, running at about 4000 rpm for about 15 minutes when the warning annunciator horn went off. The water pump was peeing a good stream, even at idle, I removed the cowl and the engine didn't feel hot and the oil reservoir was full, didn't know what else to check, he hasn't sent me to manuals yet. We was close to the ramp so I ran it back to shore and loaded it back on the trailer. Seting in the driveway the the horn is still on after teh engine has completely cooled down. What do I check next, is it a faulty sensor?
