haveing trouble with the power tilt will go up but not down. have traced out wires to two relays. Is there one for each direction and can I swap to determine which is bad? Thanks any help is appreciaterd
not familiar with your exact engine....but if the relay's look the same, switch em. If it acts the same, it could be the trim switch, or wiring to and from relays to switch.
I had the same thing happen to an 89 evinrude I had a while back(one bad relay switch). If the relays are the same, which they should be, try switching them. If that doesn't work your switch may be bad.<br /><br />fishalot
