I replaced the seals in my tilt and trim unit. After reinstalling it back in the engine bracket I filled it up with fluid but left the top of the piston disconnected from the motor. I ran the piston up and down numerous times stopping to refill the reservoir. After doing this a number of times, I connected the top of the piston to the motor so it was now bearing weight. I then tried to run the tilt and trim but it is not moving. The motor is moving but it's not tilting either up or down. I'm wondering if I have a huge air bubble in the system or if I'm having another problem. Any suggestions?
