A couple of times I've gone to the lake and the motor won't fire. It will crank but won't fire. The last time it happened I checked for spark and there was none. Came home went to work on it, turned the key and it fired right up. Stared the boat on Sat to make sure everythings is go for a tourny on Sunday, go to start the boat cranks but won't fire. So I fish with the TM for a few hours so for ha has I turn the key it fires right up. Stoppped and started the rest of the day no problem. Try it Monday at lunch Nothing, Monday after work it starts right up, Tonite started right up. Any help would be appreciated Thank You

Sounds like a battery problem. If it doesn't spin fast enough it won't fire. Also check your connections to the battery and motor.

about the only way to find it will require a peak reading voltmeter.<br /> check the inputs to the CDI and the output of the CDI and test the pulser coils . but ya have to do it when its broke. next time it wont spark remove the white wire from the CDI.

Also try starting with a charger on the battery, if it fires then, get a new battery.
