'99-00 FICH 200hp What can I expect!!

I own a '99 FICHT 200hp bought in feb. of 2000. I was told by my dealer this motor had been updated and he assured me it was mechanically the same motor as the 2000 model. I have run this motor for 2 years and it has performed flawlessly,what can i expect in the future? Are all these problems i'm reading about hapening during the first few hours of running? Am i out of the woods on these problems, can i now assume that I have a good motor, and if not is there anything i can do to help prevent these problems from occuring? As in any preventive maintance? I also lost 3yrs of waranty any info on the chance of Bomb. picking up some of these waranties? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

sell now!!! my 99 115 made it 15 months. i had just over 100 hrs before it burned a piston.it was running perfect as well. could not get any help from bombardier.dealer was surprized it happened because it was 6 cyl motors that were burning the pistons.good luck youlll need it!!
