99 200efi internmittent hole shot

I have a 1999 200MercEFI that has had some internmittent hole shot issues. In the past it has gotten out and on plane just fine. Just recently I was taking off and it took about 4x to get out of the hole. It felt like there was a ton of weight in the boat. After I got on plane I also noticed that I was not running full speed even with WOT. After about a mile down the river, something happend and top speed kicked in. It happend twice in one day. plugs..not firing under load...<br />after revving for awhile ..clean off and fire on all six cylinders.<br />maybe time to check them , and/or a new set ??

I am having the same problem on my 2000 EFI. I'll keep looking. I thought at first it was a solenoid cutting in and out, but replaced them and it still does it. Now I am looking at the fuel system. Merc has had problem with the fuel pumps, after they sit a while......
