99 f50 yamaha controls

I need to buy controls for my f50 ... what are my options? The dealer wants $450+..
can i use controls for older 2 strokes?

i currently have the wire harness and key so i only need shifting/ throttle control..

as long as you use the correct push or pull box they all interchange.
the later 50 and F50 use a push to open throttle. some of the early stuff used a pull. the 703 and the 704 boxes can be converted to do either push or pull. make sure your main harness is the 10 pin version or it may not work.
the 7 pin version had no key on yellow ign circuit.

ok i slightly understand what you mean...ill have to do some looking around.


on the other hand will suzuki controls work?
